On August 14, 1964 Robert E. Lundgreen and Sharron Hales were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They lived in the same South Ogden neighborhood and had gone steady for four years while Robert completed his military training and served a LDS mission to England. I guess it could be said that they were childhood sweethearts.
They are the proud parents of seven children and fifteen grandchildren: Carol (David) Lamoreaux, Rebecca (Gary) Harston, Robert (Hillary), Amy (Eric) Anderson, Matthew, Tom (Jennifer), Jim (Natalie). Sharron was a dedicated wife, mother and hardworking homemaker. Robert worked 32 years for the phone company as a directory advertising consultant. They have both served in many church callings. They lived in Kaysville for 28 years, where they raised their family and then sold their home to serve a Humanitarian Mission for the LDS Church in the country of Armenia. At the completion of their mission they moved into their present home in the south end of Layton.
Sharron has many talents, such as quilting, gardening and cooking and Robert enjoys the outdoors and hard work. They both enjoy and spend much of their time serving in the church and spending time with their family.
Their family held a dinner in their honor to celebrate their anniversary.
