Kent and Betty Redden of Roy will celebrate their 70th wedding anniversary on February 25, 2018.

Kent was born in Devils Slide Utah on February 18 1929. Betty was born in Morgan Utah on March 1, 1929. They graduated together from Morgan High in 1947. They were married in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on February 25, 1948. They have five children, 14 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, with two more additions on the way!

Kent and Betty retired together from Hill AFB in 1989 with 39 years of service each. They served for seven years as Service Missionaries at Temple Square. They both served in many callings within the church.

They love to golf and travel. Dad claims he only beat Mom once in all the years they golfed together! It's true! You'll have to ask her for her side of the story!

They celebrated their 50th anniversary in Hawaii with their children and spouses and will celebrate this one with a small family dinner. They say their greatest joy is spending time with their grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We say the legacy they have created is their continuous support. It doesn't matter where we go, or what we do, Mom and Dad are always there! We love you Mom and Dad!

Their children and their spouses are: Ryan Redden(deceased), Pam and Gary Lewis, Scott and Jody Redden, Jodi and Brad Beyeler, and Jan and Scott Allington.
