Larry Blanch to speak at Ogden FamilySearch Library

Larry Blanch will speak on the topic, “West Weber in a Place Called Alma,” at the Ogden FamilySearch Library, room 12, 539 24th Street, Ogden, Utah at 10 p.m. until 11 a.m., Saturday, June 21.

Larry Blanch is a long-time educator in Weber County, where he taught in the Weber School District for 36 years. He is an active member of the Ogden Chapter of the Utah Sons of the Pioneers and served for eight years on the executive board, conducing the Pioneer Heritage Essay Program for the schools of Weber County.

He has served as president of the Weber Education Association and the Utah Education Association board of trustees. He organized and promoted fund-raising to erect a monument for all military veterans of West Weber.

Larry is currently on the staff of the Ogden FamilySearch Library.
