PLAIN CITY — As season openers go, Fremont took care of business against a worthy opponent from a smaller school Tuesday.

“It was good to get out on the court and play somebody else. We gained some experience tonight,” Fremont head coach Corey Melaney said. “We’ve got to learn to stay out of foul trouble and be a little smarter with the lead, but I like our team … I think we can play slow, we can play fast. We have some good options.”
