Happy 85th Birthday!: Beverly M. Dalton

Beverly M. Dalton was born on March 16, 1932. She is the daughter of Ward and Leah Morby. She grew up in Coalville, Utah, where she enjoyed her young life with her sister, Marilyn and two brothers, Ward and Bob. Bev graduated from North Summit High School.

Beverly married Max H. (Joe) Dalton on August 19, 1950. They enjoyed nearly 62 years of marriage. They have a wonderful family including two daughters and their spouses: Susan and Michael Dean, Jolene and Doug Gailey. They are very proud of their grandchildren: Christopher, Jen, Amber, Chris, Josh, Monica and Justin. In addition, they enjoy their three great-grandchildren: Makayla, Mason and Maliyah.

Beverly worked for the Ogden School District as a secretary at Mound Fort Junior High School. Bev and Joe owned and operated Dalton Bookkeeping for many years. Beverly also worked for the federal government administering the ASVAB test for potential military candidates.

Beverly has traveled extensively. She and Joe enjoyed traveling around the world having been to Europe, China and Scandinavia. One of her favorite destinations was to Iceland, where she was able to visit the land where her grandmother was born.

Bev is an accomplished fiber artist. She knits, crochets, quilts and sews. Her friends and family have been the honored recipients of her professional projects.

For her 85th birthday celebration, Beverly will be joining her family in Cannon Beach, Oregon, where they will have a grand soir^e!
