Happy 90th Birthday!: Val H. Carter

Val H. Carter will celebrate his 90th birthday on Saturday, March 10, 2018, at the Rock Church, 10 West Young St. Morgan, Utah, from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

He was born on March 6, 1928, in Henefer, Utah, to Henry and Edna Dearden Carter. He grew up in Morgan County graduating from Morgan High School. He continued his education at Weber Jr. College and graduated from Utah State Agriculture College.

He worked for the Bureau of Reclamation in the U.S. and Brazil, retiring after 35 years of service.

Val is a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in many callings including Montana Billings Mission President, President of the Brazil MTC, and Ogden Temple Worker.

He married Hermine Eckersley and are the parents of two sons, Sterling (Linda), and Nathan (Shirley). He has six grandchildren and eight great- grandchildren.
