Grains lower and livestock higher

CHICAGO (AP) — Grain futures were lowerer Monday in early trading on the Chicago Board of Trade.

Wheat for July delivery lost .60 cent at $4.90 a bushel; Jul corn was off 8 cents at $3.4160 a bushel; July oats fell 6.80 cents at $2.3720 a bushel while July soybeans was declined 18.40 cents at 8.4560 a bushel.

Beef and pork were higher on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.

June live cattle was up .13 cent at $1.0825 a pound; Aug. feeder cattle was rose 5.44 cents at $1.5272 a pound; July lean hogs was gained 1.65 cents at .8335 a pound.
