OGDEN -- A 46-year-old woman faced the victims she allegedly enticed with alcohol and drugs to have unlawful sex with them, all minors.
Deborah Bush of West Haven appeared in 2nd District Court for a preliminary hearing Wednesday afternoon. Judge Scott Hadley ruled there was enough probable cause to bind Bush over for trial.
Bush is charged with one count of forcible sexual abuse of a minor and two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, both third-degree felonies. She pleaded not guilty to all the charges at the end of the hearing.
Prosecutors presented three witnesses who were all under 18 years old when, they said, they had sexual encounters with Bush.
One victim testified that he met Bush at a party that she was hosting and providing other minors with alcohol and marijuana, during which they had sex. He was 17 at the time.
Another teen, who was 15 when it started, admitted to carrying on an affair with Bush for about two years, in a relationship where he said she supplied him with marijuana. He later felt guilty and confessed to his family, who in turn contacted police over the incident.
A pretrial conference is scheduled for August. Bush is out of the Weber County Jail on a $20,000 bond.
