Jazz at the Station plaza

OGDEN — The August Jazz at the Station will feature music of the Jon Gudmundson Quartet.

The free, all ages event will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, on the plaza of Ogden’s Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave.

Jon Gudmundson, Utah State University director of Jazz Studies and associate professor of saxophone, leads the quartet, which also includes James Schaub, who teaches music in the Cache County school system; Nate Ostermiller, who teaches guitar at Utah State University; and Sam Bryson, a Weber State University adjunct instructor and director of WSU percussion studies.

The monthly concert, sponsored by the WSU Alumni Band, lasts an hour.
