A trash cleanup effort organized for greater impact. Two locations will be used as starting points. At DaVinci Academy of Science and the Arts, students will hand out bags and gloves for cleaning up the Ogden River Parkway. For those wishing to pick up the downtown area, meet at The Local Artisan Collective. The first volunteers to arrive will receive a Bloom Recyclers t-shirt. The last 50 volunteers standing will get a free slice of pizza. Pizza is only for those who helped to clean, posted a pic of their clean up crew to the Facebook event page and then meet up at Lucky Slice with their raffle ticket.

Bring the kids for a seed planting activity followed by family yoga practice to celebrate the theme “how to be one with nature.”

An evening of poetry and dance to celebrate Earth Day and the arrival of spring and renewal with local Ogden poets, contemporary dance, African dance, belly dance and Argentine tango. Featuring special guest Trisha McBride and Ogden's first Poet Laureate, Brad Roghaar.
Celebrate Earth Day the Natural Grocers way. Receive a free reusable shopping bag, plant a seed to take home for your garden and look out for a tasting station to try out some favorites.
Over the Rainbow and through the woods is Birdsong Trail. This short trail, an Ogden classic, is in need of maintenance. Morning refreshments and tools will be provided. Please bring your own work gloves. A trail director will be on hand to guide volunteers.

Learn a fun way to upcycle old nerf guns into awesome steampunk works of art that are also Salt Lake Comicon safe and within regulations for toy guns in the state. We will be learning painting techniques to take it from plastic to metal looking in hours, best glue to use depending on your materials. How to secure and enable all moving parts.

Join ambassadors Shawnee and Charlotte for some Earth Day cleanup fun in the park. We put together a short guided meditation and yoga flow to celebrate this amazing day, then we will be showing some deep love for nature by doing a little cleanup. We will supply the bags, but we urge you to bring some gloves.

Grab your friends and family and help us with graffiti removal and rehabilitating the Castle Rock scar. A waiver will need to be signed by each participant the morning of and will need a parent or legal guardian signature for anyone under the age of 18.
