‘THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE’ (PG)

Time and date: 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2

Location: Ogden Valley Branch, 131 S. 7400 East, Huntsville

Description: “Batman learns a valuable lesson in teamwork when the Joker tricks him into stealing a weapon that can destroy Gotham City and everyone in it,” the library’s website says.

‘MONSTERS UNIVERSITY’ (G)

Time and date: 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 2

Location: Pleasant Valley Branch, 5568 S. Adams Ave., Washington Terrace

Description: “Dracula, who operates a luxury vacation resort hidden from the human world, goes into overprotective mode when a human boy discovers the resort and falls for the count's teen-aged daughter,” the library’s website says.

‘THE MAGNIFICENT SEVEN’

Time and date: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 5

Location: Ogden Valley Branch, 131 S. 7400 East, Huntsville

Description: “Bandit Calvera frequently raids a poor Mexican village for food and supplies. The villagers are desperate for help and reach out to gunfighters across the U.S. boarder. Seven gunmen and outlaws answer the call but only three will survive the epic battle,” the library’s website says.

Description: “Six embassy employees escape a hostile takeover of the U.S. Embassy in Tehran during the 1979 Iranian Revolution. They are sheltered in the home of the Canadian ambassador while the U.S. State Department explores options to rescue them. The answer comes in the form of a plan to pose as Canadian filmmakers in Tehran to scout for exotic locations for their science fiction film,” the library’s website says.
