FRIDAY, December 8

The Captain Midnight Band — Snowbasin’s free aprés ski music at the Cinnabar features a blend of jam, rock and R&B from the Captain Midnight Band. 3:30-6 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 8, 9 and 10; Snowbasin Resort, 3925 E. Snowbasin Road, Huntsville. 

Doctor Barber with Panthermilk — A unique duo from Ogden along with a mix of funk and rock and roll from Logan natives. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Funk ‘n Dive, 2550 Washington Blvd., Ogden.  

Something Like Seduction  — Tucson-based band combines reggae, rock and alternative. 9 p.m., Lighthouse Lounge, 130 25th St., Ogden. $5.

Tim Daniels Band — Tim Daniels and some of the best musicians from Utah bring a high energy show that mixes old country, soul and rock. 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., Brewski’s, 244 25th St., Ogden. $5. 

SATURDAY, December 9

Crook and the Bluff — Music that explores a variety of themes and strange curiosities, depicting lust, love, murder and malevolence. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., Funk ‘n Dive, 2550 Washington Blvd., Ogden.

HeavyStone & Carrie Myers — Hard blues and rock from HeavyStone along with wonderful sounds from Carrie Myers. 9 p.m. to 1 a.m., The Sand Trap, 2851 Washington Blvd., Ogden. $5.

Mullet Hatchet — Utah-based cover band specializing in southern rock and roll. Get your fill of ZZ Top, Lynyrd Skynyrd and more. No cover for ladies. 10 p.m. to 1 a.m., Brewski’s, 244 25th St., Ogden. $5. 

Tony Holiday and The Velvetones — The hard-hitting blues from Tony Holiday and The Velvetones rounded out with a full big band and horn section. 8:30 p.m. to midnight, Lighthouse Lounge, 130 25th St., Ogden. $5. 

WSU Piano Treblemakers Holiday Concert — A benefit concert for the Mundi Project featuring your favorite holiday tunes on the piano. 7-9 p.m., Val A. Browning Center for the Performing Arts, 1901 University Circle, Ogden. 

SUNDAY, December 10

The Ivie League — Live music with Sunday brunch and Bloody Mary bar returns. This week, The Ivie League performs original songs and your favorites. Noon to 2 p.m., Lighthouse Lounge, 130 25th St., Ogden.

Jingle Bell Jazz with Ginger Bess — Jazz at the Station features the vocals of Ginger Bess and instrumentals by David Evanoff, Kya Karine, Ken Plain and Dylan Vessel. 7 p.m., Ogden’s Union Station, 2501 Wall Ave., Ogden. FREE

THURSDAY, December 14

Bar J Wranglers Christmas Concert — Christmas themed western music and comedy from Jackson Hole’s Bar J Wranglers. 7 to 9 p.m., Roy High School Auditorium, 2150 W. 4800 South, Roy. $12-22.

Ogden Unplugged featuring Michelle Moonshine and John Davis — Ogden Unplugged is your weekly chance to show off your acoustic skills and check out a special acoustic performance by Michelle Moonshine & John Davis. 7-11 p.m., Lighthouse Lounge, 130 25th St., Ogden.
