Area Christians invited to Utah Aglow retreat

SALT LAKE CITY — Utah Aglow will presents its spring retreat May 19-21.

Christians of any denomination are invited to attend.

The theme this year is“ Come Let Us Adore Him,” featuring guest speaker Terry Tripp, an author, teacher and musician.

Tripp grew up singing with his parents, LaVerne and Edith Tripp, on Trinity Broadcasting Network and other television and radio programs. He has continued for more than 25 years. He has written 12 books and is viewed daily on 10 television networks with a motivational segment called “Empower Minute,” according to the Aglow news release.

His book “Shut The Hell Up: Silence the Roar” provides tools for living an empowered Christian life, said the news release.

The retreat will be at the DoubleTree Suites,110 E. 600 South, Salt Lake City. The event will run from 7 p.m. Friday until noon Sunday. The total cost, including a Saturday banquet, is $75.

Individual sessions are $15. Hotel reservations are a separate cost and must be made directly with the hotel, if desired.
