PREP SOFTBALL: Jamison's homers lead Roy past Mountain Crest; rescheduled games

ROY — Karli Jamison hit a pair of homers, including a grand slam, and also doubled to lead Roy to a 7-2 win over Mountain Crest on Thursday.

Kenley Harris also homered for the Royals.

Whisper Doliwa earned the victory. She started and pitched five innings.

Brooklynn Barrus recorded two hits for Mountain Crest.

Roy scored five runs in the first and two in the sixth. Mountain Crest scored a run in each of the first two innings.

The following games were postponed and rescheduled for the dates noted:

BONNEVILLE at OGDEN: Rescheduled for Wednesday, May 3.

CLEARFIELD at WEBER: Rescheduled for Monday, April 24.

BOX ELDER at EAST: Rescheduled for Monday, April 24.

HIGHLAND at BOUNTIFUL: Rescheduled for Friday, April 21.

NORTHRIDGE at FREMONT: Rescheduled for Friday, April 21.

LAYTON at DAVIS: Rescheduled for Friday, April 28.

HUNTER at VIEWMONT: Rescheduled for Thursday, April 27.


BOUNTIFUL at WOODS CROSS: Rescheduled for Saturday, April 22.

ROY at WEBER: Rescheduled for Monday, April 24.
