LAS VEGAS — With the bases loaded in the bottom of the seventh and Clearfield trailing 5-3, Jake Angelico hit a triple to give the Falcons a walk-off, 6-5 win Wednesday over O'Gorman (South Dakota) in their first game at the Bishop Gorman Desert Classic in Las Vegas.
Cade Parry picked up the win for Clearfield, who trailed 5-2 going into the bottom of the seventh. Chandler Kotter added a double.
BOX ELDER 10, GRANGER 0
BRIGHAM CITY — Jeremy Gee allowed two hits in a five-inning complete game as Box Elder beat Granger.
Jace Myers, Jace Wilding, Ryan Greer and Jerum Ferland each hit home runs for the Bees. Myers had two hits and three RBIs, and Ferland drove in three with his big fly.
PARK CITY 12, BEN LOMOND 0
OGDEN — Park City scored eight runs in the second inning to hand Ben Lomond its second-straight shutout loss.
JUDGE MEMORIAL 14, MORGAN 4
SALT LAKE CITY — Judge Memorial scored 14 runs in the first inning as the Bulldogs beat Morgan in Region 13 play. Alex Harden had a double, a walk and two RBIs for Morgan.
KENNEDY-CA 9, WOODS CROSS 1
ANAHEIM, Calif. — Woods Cross managed six hits but scored one run in a loss to Kennedy (California) at the Century Classic in Anaheim.
Calum Seifert doubled for Woods Cross.
TOOELE 8, OGDEN 5
TOOELE — Ogden led 3-1 going into the bottom of the third, but Tooele scored three in the fourth to take the lead and added two more in the sixth in the Region 11 contest.
Ogden tallied seven hits.
JUAN DIEGO 17, BONNEVILLE 9
DRAPER — Bonneville jumped out to a 7-0 lead before Juan Diego batted, but the Soaring Eagle scored multiple runs in each of the first five innings to take the Region 11 tussel.
Bonneville talled nine runs on seven hits and three walks in the first three innings, but did not reach base again after Juan Diego changed pitchers in the fourth.
Justin Longman had a three-hit, three-RBI day for Bonneville. Easton Rex had seven RBIs for Juan Diego.
IRVINE-CA 9, BOUNTIFUL 0
IRVINE, Calif. — Bountiful collected three hits in a loss to Irvine (California) on Wednesday. The Vaqueros led 4-0 before they doubled that lead with four more runs in the fifth inning.
OGDEN 1, STANSBURY 0
STANSBURY PARK — After a scoreless first half, Omar Flores found the back of the net on an assist by J.J. Muniz to give Ogden a Region 11 road win at Stansbury
Alex Bocanegra and Josh Whelan shared the shutout for the Tigers.
