Substitute teacher gives thumbs up to schools
Friday , August 22, 2014 - 3:59 PM
For the past twelve years, I have had the experience of being a substitute teacher. I taught several years in the Ogden School District and then in the Weber School District. Both experiences were very satisfying. These experiences followed my 30 years as a regular teacher in Ogden. All the teachers I subbed for were very professional and accommodating.
The principals and staff have been exceptional to work with. I thank them for their professionalism and courtesy.
For the parents out there who wonder about whether the school system is doing a good job in educating their young ones, believe me, I give them an A+.
I truly believe the youth are learning faster and gaining more knowledge that will help them in their adult lives than ever before.
Along this line, the drug prevention programs and other professionals who frequent the school for special instructions, I give two thumbs up. Great work, all of you!
