Black? White? Independent? Democrat? Republican?
Every time I fill out a form that asks me what race I belong to, I want to write in “human” – the human race.
As for a party, has any of this looked like a party to you? Pfft!
We have had public displays, such as rallies, marches, and downright cruelty, but I have not seen any parties. Most of the marches we have been shown by the news media look disgraceful. Some of the women marching for women who were dressed as female body parts made me embarrassed to be a woman. These “women” are no more than followers, not knowing what the cause is even about. They are being led by fanatics who have not really studied the facts. If they had, their marches would be more empowered and in better taste.
As for our elected United States leaders? There seems to be no cohesiveness.
You didn’t support this nominee to the Supreme Court, so I’m not going to support your nominee to the Supreme Court. Neener, neener, neener.
To compare some of our elected officials and the way they have been acting to fifth-graders could very well be an insult to fifth-graders.
I am an American and even with all the displays of poor taste, I remain proud to be so. As for race? I have so many different nationalities running through my veins that I mark “other” on any application. I am human. I belong to the human race.
As so many before me have stated, if we treat others the way we would like to be treated, this country would be in much better shape. As John Dickinson penned in “The Liberty Song,” echoed by many other great Americans, “By uniting we stand, by dividing we fall.” Our fight should not be amongst ourselves.
Please, please — let’s stand together.
God bless America!
