Stephens will always work for the benefit of Ogden

Councilman Doug Stephens will continue to work in a positive direction for Ogden. He will listen, then act to find a solution for every issue. He has a positive, productive and pro-action plan that will continue the growth and opportunities for the residents Of Ogden to have a better quality of life.

Ogden is a great place to live, to work and to play and raise a family.

Fiscal sustainability and transparency are necessary for responsible government to the citizens of Ogden. This strengthens our tax base and provides revenues to provide necessary services to our citizens.

The City Council has appropriated funds to help our public safety employees be better paid, trained, and educated to handle the many situations they encounter every day. This results in a more stable workforce. The police department reports fewer officers leaving Ogden for other cities.

Stephens will continue to develop the central business district and the Business Depot Ogden. He supports local business owners.

The arts are important to him. Stephens would like to help create a Downtown Arts District

Stephens is committed to being a good steward of the environment. He will continue working to protect and ensure the development of the many recreational opportunities available in Ogden. Trails for walking, hiking and biking are all within minutes of where you live. So are waterways for boating and places to ski and snowboard.

He is a lifelong resident of Ogden.He graduated from Ben Lomond High School and Weber State University with a degree in business management and marketing.

He is family-oriented, with a high level of integrity. He is honest in personal and business dealings.

He has the experience, knowledge and skills to continue moving Ogden forward.

He will always work for the benefit of Ogden. This is not the right time to change the City Council. Working together, we can build a better Ogden.

Let’s keep Ogden moving forward and vote for Councilman Doug Stephens, City Council Ward 3.
