I'm amazed that there is little or no comment suggesting parents take their share of the responsibility for our gun problem. Guns should be kept in locked cabinets, and the keys should be carefully supervised by parents.
If a person is too young to purchase a gun as a teenager, it follows that he is too young to use a gun without competent supervision. Has anyone thought that if parents were held responsible for their children's actions, many of our problems could be controlled?
