I too am against school shootings, but I think there is a common-sense answer to this problem. We already have gun control, but there is lax enforcement of the laws we have. Enforce them.
Secure our schools. If I were a student today, I would be very upset with the school district for not providing a safe and secure environment to learn in. Schools are already gun-free zones, but that is an invitation for someone to shoot up the place with no danger of anyone stopping them.
Secure our schools. Other countries and some U.S. schools secure their schools. Why can't we? Are our students worth the cost of securing their place of learning?
