Thanks for letting Brian Wood have a column each week.
I wrote Brian twice while he was in the Gunnison prison. He wrote me back both times.
The second time I wrote him I asked if he had his problem because he needed money to support his drug addiction. He wrote me back and said yes.
When he left Gunnison, a prison guard said to Brian that way too many prisoners come back to prison soon after they leave. He told Brian he thought he would not return.
So far, so good.
In his April 16 column, Brian wrote, “It took about a year of incarceration before I stopped dreaming about the outside world, but since my release I haven’t had a single dream about prison.”
I really hope Brian makes it on the outside. I feel from his weekly column in the Standard-Examiner that he will go straight.
The best to you, Brian.
