WSU maintenance worker rescues ducklings stuck in storm drain

OGDEN — A Weber State University maintenance worker saved several ducklings stuck in a storm drain.


Facilities management responded to a call concerning the ducks from the nearby pond on Friday morning. A total of four ducklings were rescued from underneath a storm drain grate.

A post on the university’s Facebook page drew heavy traffic within hours. As seen in the video above, the mother duck paces anxiously around the drain waiting for help until she is reunited with all her baby ducks.
