Junior high and high school student art will be on display at the Eccles Community Art Center throughout March and April.

Ogden School District student art will be up March 27 through April 12 while Weber School District student art will be displayed April 13-29.

Art from DaVinci Academy, a K-12 charter school, will be displayed through April in the Eccles dining room.

Assistant Director Debra Muller said in past years, school districts have brought in local artists to judge the work. Awards in several categories are then given to students.

A reception in association with Ogden’s First Friday Art Stroll will be held 5 to 8 p.m., April 7.

“Any of the kids who have entered and their parents who want to come and see can come,” Muller said.

The Eccles is located at 2580 Jefferson Avenue in Ogden and is open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
