Presidents Day 2018: Open, closed, schedule changes, more in Northern Utah

This year, Presidents Day is observed on Monday, Feb. 19. Wondering which Northern Utah businesses and services will be available on the federal holiday?

Check this list to find out what’s open and closed in Weber, Davis and Box Elder counties. 

FEDERAL OFFICES

All federal offices will be closed Feb. 19 to observe this federal holiday.

STATE OFFICES

The State of Utah observes Presidents Day and will close all state offices, according to the holiday schedule

COUNTY OFFICES

County offices in Weber, Davis, Box Elder and Cache counties will close for Presidents Day. 

CITY OFFICES

In observance of Presidents Day, most city offices will be closed on Feb. 19.

POSTAL SERVICE/SHIPPING

The U.S. Postal Service will not deliver mail and post offices will be closed. Self-service lobbies will remain open. 

UPS and FedEx will maintain regular business hours on Monday, Feb. 19. 

DMV/DRIVER’S LICENSE OFFICES

The Division of Motor Vehicles and the Driver’s License Division offices will be closed Presidents Day.

LIQUOR STORES

The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control offices, liquor stores and package agencies will be closed in observance of the holiday. 

LIBRARIES

Weber County Library branches are open during normal business hours on Feb. 19. 

Davis County Library and Brigham City Library branches will be closed on Presidents Day.

UTAH TRANSIT AUTHORITY

UTA’s Frontrunner trains, ski buses and local buses will run on Saturday schedules on Feb. 19. 

BANKS

Most banks and credit unions observe the federal holiday by closing. Call your branch for more information. 

GROCERY AND RETAIL STORES

Most grocers and retailers are open on Presidents Day. Call your local store if you have questions about their hours on Feb. 19.
