WELLSVILLE — If you’re up for a road trip at the end of the week, there’s going to be some pretty cute baby animals to cuddle in Wellsville.
Baby Animal Days started Wednesday, April 4, and goes until Saturday, April 7, at the American West Heritage Center, 4025 S. Highway 89-91, in Wellsville. The event goes from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily; tickets cost $7 for children ages 3-11 and $9 for adults.
“You’ll see lambs, piglets, calves, kids, foals, chicks and ducklings,” the heritage center says in its description of the event. Baby bears from Yellowstone Bear World will also be part of the event, though the line to see the bears closes at 4:30 p.m.
In addition to getting up close and personal with baby animals, kids can experience pony and train rides from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., watch an old-fashioned sheep shearing, meet rescue dogs and visit the 1917 living farm.
Tickets can be purchased online at awhc.org/babyanimaldays.
