Young folk singer to perform at garden series

OGDEN — Sammy Brue is the next act up at the Oasis Community Garden concert series.

Brue, a 13-year-old Ogden folk singer, plays a free concert Aug. 7 at the weekly event, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursdays at the garden, 2445 Monroe Blvd. Guests are welcome to bring picnics and blankets. The Junior League of Ogden sponsors the series.

Food and arts vendors will be on hand, and yoga sessions are offered. A donation of $5 is suggested for those who participate in yoga. Bring your own mat.
