New tracks and new sneaks are coming for Damian Lillard fans looking for either one, the basketball superstar announced Tuesday.

Lillard announced via Twitter that a rap single “Run It Up,” featuring Lil Wayne, would be released Friday, Sept. 22, coming from his second studio album “Confirmed,” which will be released Oct. 6.

The Portland Trail Blazers All-Star announced the next sneaker in his line of signature Adidas basketball shoes, the Dame 4s, would also release on Oct. 6.

Preliminary images of Dame 4s on sale in China emerged in March and were shared by sneaker website Sole Collector. The basic design, albeit in different colors, was confirmed when practice photos from Blazers beat reporter Casey Holdahl showed Lillard wearing the new line.

Not much is known about his second album other than nuggets Lillard has tweeted — that it will include Lil Wayne and renowned rap producer Scott Storch.

His first studio album — “The Letter O,” released just shy of one year ago under his artist name, Dame DOLLA — also featured Lil Wayne, as well as Juvenile, Jamie Foxx, Raphael Saadiq, and emerging Oakland artists Brookfield Duece and Danny from Sobrante.

THE LETTER ODamian Lillard announces surprise release of his first album

It peaked at No. 119 on the Billboard 200 album chart, according to its iTunes description, and included songs like “Wasatch Front,” which describes his days as a student and player at Weber State.

The album is expected to be “clean,” or free of explicit lyrics — consistent with his first album and other songs he releases online.

Watch for the single and full album to be available on iTunes and Spotify on their release dates. Lillard’s signature shoes are available at adidas.com.
