Our beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Robert Earl Dodge, passed away at home on July 30, 2014. He was born on July 8, 1930 in Laramie, Wyoming to James Robert Dodge and Alice Lemoine Dodge. He was married to Wanda Feller on November 7, 1954 in Randolph, Utah, their marriage was later solemnized in the Ogden Temple. Bob and Wanda spent 60 years together.
Bob served in the US Marine Corp as a lineman during the Korean War. He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad for 15 years in the Signal Department. He then worked at Hill AFB as a Missile Electronics Tech Supervisor for 37 years, he retired in June 1989.
He is survived by his wife Wanda and their children, Allen (Carla), Randy, Jim, Kenneth (Tanya) and Jason (Tonya); five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother and nephew.
A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, August 4, 2014 at Myers Mortuary, 250 N. Fairfield Drive, Layton and from 9:45 to 10:45 am on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at the LDS Clearfield 7th Ward, 231 East 300 North, Clearfield.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at 11 a.m. at the LDS Clearfield 7th Ward with burial to follow at the Laketown, Utah Cemetery, where military honors will be accorded.
