OGDEN - Kaye Frances Kosakowsky died August 3, 2014. She was 74. She was born May 8, 1940, in Vernal, Utah, the daughter of Alva LeRoy Hatch and Lois Jean Leech. She married John Victor Christopher Kosakowsky in Los Angeles, California, in 1964. He died suddenly in 1975, leaving her to raise their only daughter.
A few years later she returned to Utah, went back to school and received her B.A. degree in political science (with honors) from Weber State University. She retired from Hill A.F.B. after a long career in Public Affairs; having edited the Hilltop Times newspaper and coordinating the annual air show for a number of years.
She is survived by her brothers, Gary and Kenneth Hatch, her daughter and son-in-law, Kelly and Mitchell Goff; and her three grandsons, Thatcher, Cooper and Keifer Goff. Her parents preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 8, 2014 at 10 a.m. at First Unitarian Church of Salt Lake City, 569 S. 1300 East, SLC, Utah 84102.
