April 2, 1937 ~ March 15, 2017
Nancy Pearl Nielsen, 79, passed away peacefully from this life due to natural causes. She was born on April 2, 1937, to Randall L. Nielsen and Josie N. (Geddes) Nielsen in Monroe, Utah. Nancy was the youngest daughter of six children; she was raised on a farm. Her loving parents taught her the meaning of honest hard work, integrity, kindness and faithfulness. These are the same traits she has exemplified and passed on to her children.
Nancy lived a full and selfless life; always giving to others or finding a way to serve them in some way. She lived her life full of love and service to God, and everyone that she touched. She had been a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and served many leadership callings.
Nancy married the love of her life, Gene, on July 27, 1956, in the Manti Temple where they were sealed for all time and eternity. Their lives brought them north to Ogden, and finally Roy, Utah, where they settled and raised their four children.
Nancy is the beloved wife of Gene F. Moore, and the loved and cherished mother to: Jody (Donald) Howell, Bruce (Andrea) Moore, Bryan (Brenda) Moore and Ann (Matt) Garnes. Nancy has been blessed with 15 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Clifford Nielsen, Narlynn Dickson and Lyle (Annie) Nielsen.
