Richard Anderson Ramsdell, 86, passed away February 4, 2018, at his home in Garland, Utah. He was born on August 27, 1931 in Park City, Utah to Dewey (Pops) and Florence (Flossie) Ramsdell. He married Dorlyn Wood on September 14, 1951 in Tremonton, Utah.
He was a carpentry contractor and fireman for ATK. He served as a Scoutmaster and was a part of the Garland Volunteer Fire Department.
He was a collector of treasures and was frequently stopping at yard sales. He also loved hunting, camping and fishing.
Richard is survived by his wife, Dorlyn; children, Rick D (Trev), Reo Todd (Karleen), Mark Luke and Nancy Jane; nine grandkids; 17 great-grandkids, with two in the oven; and siblings: Ted (Marlene), Mike (Bonnie), Sally Munns, and Karen Loo.
He is preceded in death by three siblings: Jack, Dee and Kathleen; two brothers-in-law, Boyd Munns and Frank Loo; and two sisters-in-law, Onie Ramsdell and Dixie Ramsdell.
Funeral services for Richard will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2018, at the Garland Tabernacle (140 West Factory, Garland, UT). Viewings will be held before the funeral from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. and on Tuesday evening, February 13, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Garland Tabernacle (140 West Factory, Garland, UT).
