Jeraldine "Jeri" Johnson Crittenden of Ogden, passed away on March 3, 2018. Born January 10, 1931, in Oakley, Idaho, to Garnold C. Johnnie and Anona Severe Johnson, she married Herbert N. Crittenden on May 11, 1949, in Ogden. They were later divorced, but she loved him until the end.
In 1942, she moved to Ogden with her parents form Burley, Idaho. She attended school in Ogden, graduating from Ogden High School. She was a stay-at-home mom for many years while raising five children. She later worked at the Internal Revenue Service, Defense Depot Ogden and Hill Air Force Base. She enjoyed working at St. Benedict's Hospital as a respiratory therapist in between civil service jobs. She was married to George Burnett for a short time. He was a loving, kind partner and provided for her after his passing which the family has been grateful for.
She enjoyed visiting with her family, lunch with her daughters and playing bridge with friends. She enjoyed camping and hunting in earlier years. She had been active in various church callings and especially enjoyed five years as an ordinance worker in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Ogden Temple. She had also been a volunteer at South Ogden Senior Citizen Center.
Her children and their spouses are: Brenda and Scott Carnahan, Colette and Sam Cooper, Johnny and Colleen (deceased) Crittenden, Nancy and Clay Anderson and Gail and David Bell. She has 14 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 9, 2018, at 12 noon at the Shadow Ridge Ward, 1401 Country Hills Drive. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 11 to 11:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Lindquist's Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
