LOGAN — A man is in jail for allegedly recording under women's skirts at the Summerfest Arts Faire over the weekend.

Michael Peter Lawler, 38, reportedly targeted several women using a makeshift device to make the recordings.

"Lawler was in possession of a long slender piece of cardboard that he had folded over and was using to conceal his cell phone while video recording upwards underneath women’s skirts," according to a release from the Logan Police Department.

He was positively identified by multiple witnesses, the release said.

Lawler is being held in Cache County jail on suspicion of nine counts of voyeurism, all class A misdemeanors. His bail is set at $17,555.

Investigators are also searching for more victims. Anyone who has information about the case is asked to call police at 425-716-9465.
