Ogden Police release name of man killed in Wednesday motorcycle crash

At 4:12 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, a crash involving a motorcycle and another vehicle was reported at 1250 N. Washington Blvd., according to Weber Emergency Dispatch.

OGDEN — Police have released the name of a man killed in a Wednesday motorcycle crash

Keifer Deamer, a 20-year-old West Haven resident, was driving in the northbound lanes of Washington Boulevard at 4:12 p.m. on March 7 when an SUV tried turning into the southbound lanes from Canfield Drive, according to Sgt. John Thomas of Ogden Police’s traffic division.

The motorcycle and SUV crashed into each other, and Deamer died at the scene.

A press release from Ogden Police says Deamer was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash. 

A decision on whether or not to file criminal charges against the 73-year-old driver of the SUV will depend on the results of further investigation, Thomas said.
