Motorcyclist in critical condition after Ogden hit-and-run

HARRISVILLE — A man is in critical condition after a hit-and-run collision late Tuesday night. 

The driver of a white hatchback reportedly collided with a motorcyclist at about 9:45 p.m. near 1000 N. Washington Boulevard and then fled the scene.

The driver of the hatchback is being sought by Ogden police. The vehicle is believed to be damaged on the driver’s side near the front. 

The motorcycle driver was transported to a local emergency room. His age has not been released. 

The two vehicles were both driving northbound at the time of the collision, Ogden Lt. Steve Zaccardi told the Standard-Examiner. The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
