OREM - Police are appealing to the public for information about Danielle and Sydney Wolferts who went missing on July 9, 2014.

The eldest girl, Sydney, is seen above on the left. She is 15-years-old, 5’4″ tall and has hazel eyes and light brown hair. Her ears are pierced.

Her sister Danielle is on the right. She is 13-years-old, 5’3″ tall and has blue/green eyes and blonde/light brown hair. Danielle also has pierced ears as well as glasses and a scar on her bottom lip.

Brian Wolferts, the girls’ father, has had custody of them for the last four years and they have been living with him in Topeka, Kansas.

Their mother, Michelle, has visitation rights and this summer both girls went to Orem to see her. Neither the girls or their mother have been heard from ever since.

A Facebook page has been set up to help find these young missing girls and the Missing Persons of America has listed them and is writing extensively about the case.

If anyone has any information that could help locate Sydney and Danielle Wolferts, they are asked to contact Det. Sgt. Frederickson of the Orem, Utah, police department at (801) 229-7082, Private Investigator Allen Robins at (801) 864-8897 or the We Help the Missing tip line at (866) 660-4025.
