Mount Ogden Archers hosting family 3D shoot in August

OGDEN — Come test out your archery skills at the Mount Ogden Archers’ annual family 3D shoot .

The shoot will be held Friday, Aug. 11, through Sunday, Aug. 13, at Mount Ogden Archery Range.The range is located east of Ogden, 10 miles up Weber Canyon on Interstate 84.

The activity will be from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday through Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday. Breakfast and lunch will be served on Saturday and Sunday.

Registration fees are $15 for those 14 years and older, $10 for those ages 10 to 13, and $5 for children under 10. There is a family rate of $40 for families of six. Participants need to bring their own bows and arrows.

There will be 30 3D targets to shoot at. Prizes will be given for first, second and third place after 1 p.m. Sunday. There will also be a raffle and a silent auction. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six for $5. Individuals do not need to be present to win any of the prizes.

Free overnight camping will be available on a first come, first serve basis. There will be restrooms at the site as well.
