LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Valley View club professional Dustin Volk spent Wednesday at the PGA Championship getting in a practice round at Valhalla Golf Club.
He played alongside fellow Utahn Steve Schneiter. The pair teed off around 10 a.m. eastern time to get in a light workout before Thursday’s opening round of the tournament.
Tiger Woods made his first appearance at Valhalla on Wednesday, arriving just before 2 p.m.
About Woods’ health coming into the tournament, U.S. Ryder Cup captain Tom Watson said, “Honestly, it’s speculation what is going to happen. I can’t tell what’s going to happen with Tiger (regarding picking him for the Ryder Cup team). I don’t know his physical condition right now. And I said from the beginning, if he’s in good health, I’ll pick him.”
