Coachella is a music festival held in Indio, Calif., in the Coachella valley, every year. The festival is so popular tickets sell out in seconds, and for good reason, too.
Any mainstream artist you can think of will perform there, over the span of the April 14-16 and April 21-23 weekends. Many celebrities also attend to listen to all of the bands, and hang out in the desert heat. This year, the major headliners are Beyoncé, Radiohead and Kendrick Lamar.
Aside from music, Coachella also features many different sculptures created by a lot of artists. There is a huge rose garden, where you can have a beautiful dinner for a little extra money. For tickets, you can either get general admission, or you can buy a VIP ticket, which gets you into exclusive parts of the festival, and allows you to have shaded viewings of the bands preforming. While attending Coachella, you can either stay in a hotel off grounds, or you can camp in a teepee in a special camping ground by the stage.
All in all, Coachella seems like a really cool place to go. For a weekend of adventure, seeing all of the bands you love, it sounds like a great deal. If I were to go, I would want to get a VIP ticket and stay in a teepee. I will be on the lookout for when the tickets for 2018 go on sale, and I am going to save to buy a ticket.
