SALT LAKE CITY — Temperatures in Northern Utah will take a dive from the 70s Monday evening as a cold front moves through and threatens to bring several more inches of snow to the mountains.
Four to 8 inches of snow are expected to accumulate in the mountains. Motorists should expect winter driving conditions on higher elevation routes.

Only an inch of snow is expected in the valleys, but the benches could see up to three inches in grassy areas, the weather service said.
The low will drop to 34 degrees in Ogden Monday night, while Tuesday’s high is only expected to reach 46 degrees, the weather service forecast said. Spring temperatures will return on Wednesday and Thursday.
