Weber State men’s basketball’s 2017-18 schedule is now complete as the organizer of The Islands of the Bahamas Showcase announced the bracket for the November tournament Friday.

The Wildcats open with Iona, a 2016 NCAA Tournament participant that beat Weber State in last year’s Great Alaska Shootout.

That game is at 6 p.m. MST Friday, Nov. 17.

Weber State plays either Northern Kentucky or James Madison in the next round on Saturday, Nov. 18. Northern Kentucky also qualified for the NCAA Tournament last season.

The Wildcats will play a third game on Sunday, Nov. 19. Other participants in the tournament are Vermont, Bradley, Coastal Carolina and UTSA.

Games will be played at Kendal Isaacs National Gymnasium in Nassau, which seats 2,500, and will be streamed online through a method/site to be determined later.

Weber State’s opener against Iona will be its third game of the regular season. The Wildcats open the season by hosting Utah State on Nov. 10. Preceding that are the Purple & White Scrimmage on Oct. 18 and an exhibition against Western State on Nov. 2.
