Judge says Casey Anthony must answer limited questions

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange Circuit Judge Lisa Munyon has issued an order stating Casey Anthony must answer limited questioning from Texas EquuSearch attorneys.

The order stems from a closed-door hearing held Tuesday on the issue of whether Anthony, 25, should be made to answer a series of questions posed by TES attorneys.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The latest person to sue Casey Anthony is Roy Kronk, the meter reader who discovered Caylee Anthony's remains in late 2008 and was then implicated to some extent in the case by her defense.

Kronk is suing Anthony for defamation.

Casey Anthony still faces civil case

ORLANDO, Fla. -- A judge on Thursday ordered that Casey Anthony's deposition in the civil case against her will be videotaped and then possibly sealed from public view.

Motions by the parties could result in the video and transcript of the depositions being sealed, according to minutes of this Thursday's hearing at the Orange County Courthouse.

Casey Anthony to serve probation in secret because of death threats

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. -- Florida Department of Corrections officials said Thursday that Casey Anthony has begun serving a one-year probation on check-fraud charges, but they refused to say where in Florida she would be staying.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Chief Judge Belvin Perry, after hearing arguments Friday on whether Casey Anthony should serve probation for a year in her check-fraud convictions or resume life without legal restrictions, called the situation "a mess" before saying he needed to do more research.

Perry heard more than an hour's worth of arguments on the probation issue, ultimately saying he wasn't sure what he would do. He is not expected to rule on the issue until sometime next week, court spokeswoman Karen Levey said.

ORLANDO, Fla. -- Orange Circuit Judge Stan Strickland signed amended court documents Monday that he says will have the effect of requiring Casey Anthony to serve one year of supervised probation as he originally intended back when he sentenced her in her check fraud case.

"From my reading of this, she should be reporting to probation in Orlando probably within 72 hours," Strickland said Monday morning.
