Cutting health benefits for N. Ogden police shameful

Editor,

In the past month citizens and law enforcement personal have grieved dearly over the death of one it's Police Officers losing his life in the line of duty and 5 others being shot. To my horror last week in a North Ogden council meeting, City Councilman Wade Bigler proposed cutting police officer health benefits roughly by 30 percent. Mr. Wade Bigler you should be ashamed of yourself.

Some incumbent Republicans lack accountability

(UNEDITED)Many years ago, our founding fathers created a political system and process as a means to give voice and organization in addressing citizen concerns of the day. Over the years, the political process has been used and abused and seen some deterioration because of its users, but it's the one sure system and process we have in place today to help organize its citizens and address concerns. Citizens should be able to approach their local legislator and express their concerns and trust that their issues will be heard and addressed. They expect and deserve true professionalism and representation from every legislator.

Herbert slashed public employees' pensions

(UNEDIED)I refuse to vote for Governor Gary Herbert because of what he says and does... Recently Governor Gary Herbert said to KUED that his opponent Peter Corroon's plan could eliminate LDS Seminary in schools. That statement is not only misleading but flat out deceitful.
