I want to thank people for all their kindness to my son who was serving on the strike force on the Matthew Stewart case. I have spent many days and nights pondering this letter. I received a phone call Jan. 4 2012. I will never forget that gut wrenching feeling. My son was one of the officers who was shot in the search warrant in Ogden. I have read many negative and many positive comments. I understand people have a right to their feelings, this letter is to address the positive. I wish that I could thank every person who did anything, no matter how small .
