Editor:"A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed."There is no middle ground on this issue, for it rests on the Constitution. There can be no such discussion of any gun "control" when they are really talking about any sort of "bans." The 2nd amendment is a personal right, for each and every law abiding citizen to obtain and bear firearms, even to the extent of forming militias. In the day that this right was put in to the U.S. Constitution, each and every U.S citizen had the right to have equal firepower to that of a soldier. Their were no restrictions placed on the citizens, but on the government from infringing upon such right.
