FRUIT HEIGHTS -- At a steady walking pace, volunteer Steve Turner is quickly becoming every Davis County shelter dog's best friend.Since April of 2012, Turner has been volunteering three to four times a week as a dog walker in treating the canines to a day out from the Davis County Animal Care & Control shelter in Fruit Heights.

FARMINGTON -- An ethics complaint filed against Davis County Republican Party chairman Phill Wright has been dismissed as having "no merit," according to Wright.But Wright's claim is one the Davis County Republican Party's Ethics Committee will neither confirm or deny.
