OGDEN — Here’s a thought to cheer you up after all the shoveling you’ve done this week, with more probably to come:
While all the snow that people along the Wasatch Front have shoveled is very real, it is snow that doesn’t run into mountain reservoirs in the spring, so it only counts minimally for water supply.
The amount of water in the mountain snow, all that stuff you think has to be piling up and will probably flood us out in June, is only at 78 percent of normal.
