Reader's god loves mankind unconditionally

Editor,

Normally I do not reply to specific letters to the editor, however after reading the letter of Feb. 15, “We can’t ignore absolutes from God,” I cannot withhold comment. I have only one question to ask this letter writer.  Which god are you talking about?  I sir, also believe in a supreme being or as you will, God.  The Constitution of the U.S., to which you allude, not only gives us freedom of religion but also, and I sincerely mean this thank God, gives freedom from religion. My god loves mankind unconditionally.

There's nothing more American than compromise

Editor,

Enough is enough. Mr. Romney and ardent supporters, please give the American people a rest from the politic of elections. We are exhausted with political rhetoric and why you didn’t win. Follow the spirit of the dignified speech you gave at the end of Election Day. Let us close ranks and move forward because the election is history.
