Monday: Closed for July 4.

Tuesday: Breaded fish, macaroni and cheese, spinach, cole slaw, apricot, strawberry banana muffin.

Military news

Air Force Airman 1st Class Kathryn E. Hutmacher graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. She is the daughter of Kenneth and Terry Hutmacher of Troon Drive, Syracuse. Hutmacher graduated in 2008 from Clearfield High School.

Volunteers

The Arthritis Foundation Utah/Idaho Chapter focuses on improving lives through leadership in the prevention control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. Volunteers are needed to assist in all areas. For more information call 801-536-0900.

The Road Home works to help people step out of homelessness and back into the community. Volunteers are needed to play with children while their parents are in a family team meeting with their case manager. The playroom is open 7-8 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Cory

Cory is a 2- to 3-year-old Lab. He was found running loose as a stray and no one claimed him. Cory is a good boy, sweet and loving. He knows his manners and is well-behaved. Because he was a stray, not much is known about his background. Cory is a bright, sweet dog who deserves a loving family to give him a second chance. Cory is in kennel new adopt 21.

Military news

Army Reserve Pvt. Todd A. Brandley has graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson, Columbia, S.C. He is the son of Valita Bishop of N. Lakeview Drive, North Ogden, and grandson of David Brandley of Cross Street, Ogden. Brandley graduated in 1996 from Washington High School.

Air Force Reserve Airman Abbi J. Call graduated from basic military training at Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas. Call earned distinction as an honor graduate. She is the daughter of Dixie Call of Ogden. The airman graduated in 2004 from Roy High Court.
