The talk is about bankrupting our children and grandchildren. Bush did that in 1992. The Congressional Budget Office set the federal deficit to $362 billion, which was the largest in history at that time. Seventeen states had an unemployment rate of over 8 percent. This was a crushing blow to the middle class. Half of all income receipts went to pay the interest.
